What emailers should a business send to its customers?
One of the most effective strategies of Digital Marketing is Email Marketing. It helps you reach your database, make a reputation, and convert your prospects into customers.
“Anybody can shoot in the air. But it takes thoughtful strategy and planning to drop in the primary section of your customer”, says Dheeraj Chawla, Co-founder, DNA Digital Factory.
What should you promote in your emailers?
1. Your Product and Services
There is nothing better than promoting your new product or services to the prospects. Make sure you make every word worth selling. Do mention the benefits one would get by buying the product. And do not forget to add a CTA (call to action), to convert them into customers!
2. Build Customer Relationships
If you want to have a long-lasting relationship with your customers, ask for their opinions and feedback! Let them know how important it is for the business. Acknowledge them when they take their time out to give you feedback!
Send out greetings and wishes or just a simple miss you emailers! Make them feel how important you are to them.
3. Educate your customers
Most businesses have “Frequently asked questions” as a section on their website. Go the extra mile and address these in the form of a newsletter. You can also hyperlink the content on your website. It will help gain traffic too!
4. Make sure to do follow-ups
There are times when emails are not read or dropped in the spam folder. To ensure your database received it, you can always send a gentle follow-up mailer. This shall also help in recalling and reconnecting with your customers!
5. Send a case study
Case studies are a great way to showcase a problem that your product or service overcomes. Customers love statistics, they make putting things into perspective easier thereby making your story come to life.
6. Conduct contests
If you are into email marketing, you are in constant need of leads! Contests are the weapon of choice to get there, especially if your customer base is B2C.
7. Improve your brand’s image
If your business is associated with any charitable organization or holds a vision of preserving etc..you should talk about it with your customers. The more they see your brand’s name and logo, the more likely they are to purchase from you!
And the golden rule is…..
Always share relevant content with your audience. Place yourself in their shoes and ask yourself, if this is what you would like to read or if this is what attracts your attention!
